We use a triple butted Alloy frame with Alloy Fork ( no suspension needed , besides, they don't work at this level ... ), added as many gears as possible ( 7spd on 20", 27spd on 24" ), made sure the brakes STOP. Brand new for 2012. Based on the same geometry as our AL329/529/729 Series but upgraded with a 7000 Series Triple Butted Front Triangle and Carbon Unidirectional Seatstays. Oversize Taper Headtube and standard BSA Threaded 73mm BB means easy parts-swap from your existing ride. Designed for 80 or 100mm travel forks and classy Smooth Welding throughout. SL929 Framesets are In Stock.
2012 version is IN STOCK and available with the new SL+ carbon lay-up, essentially using a different carbon material to shave further g's from the frame. Roughly 150g lighter per size. We have also recently received the new FR 29er Carbon Monocoque forks which have been painted to fit perfectly with this frame-set. Frame-set includes frame/headset/seatclamp. Fork sold seperately.
